Linux or Windows that is the question. I like both, I like Linux a little better because of the free rain that I have and software that comes with it. I have problems with some wireless cards that I have in a few of my boxes. Windows had problems as well but I could get a driver that worked for it. Installing different programs that make life easier though is actually easier in Ubuntu. Easier in the since that the software is listed in a repository and I can add more and more repositories if need be. Windows gives me a more of a variety of software because of all the manufacturers and other software companies that use these products. Linux however wins in virutualization ease. I installed vmware server in a few seconds with the help of the Ubuntu forums and had mulitple virtual servers going at once which was great to see running at a much lower resource rate than in windows. Windows is what I use at work and most places use Windows as a desktop and servers. Windows is easy to manage in a large environment. Linux however is great for home use as a desktop, most organizations use Linux on servers as a cheap and very powerful method of having some very good server products.
The question then is asked again Linux or Windows and that is where my delimma is, I want to be able to enjoy linux but I also want to be productive. However, I do not want to dual boot. I guess I could try the Linux Host and Windows guest and see what happens with it.
Hopefully, it will work out in the best.
